What a kick in the bollox that was.  Feel physically sick.  We are far from out of it, but it's the manner of the equaliser and the timing of it that's so disappointing.  Need to pick ourselves up for the second leg.

That's the third time we've deserved to beat Chelsea this season and drawn, their luck can't last and we have to beat our Stamford Bridge jinx at some point.

there were soooo many free kicks not en given to us and what about the treatment torres got -

kicked by terry in stomach
kicked in the legs
elbowed numerous times

and same with babel and benayoun

and not 1 yellow for those

and only 1 yellow for the game unbelieveable

and drogba - he is the biggest cheat and play actor ive ever seen

We have SCORED in EVERY single Champions League fixture this season with the exception of Marseilles at home in the group stage and I'm sure thats what Rafa will be telling the players before next week's game.

I actually think Riise was a bit unlucky TBPH. The cross kind of dipped on him and skidded as well which made his attempted headed clearance fraught with danger as we saw. I would like to have seen the two red shirts around Kalou (I think it was) preventing the cross coming in, but there you go.

I don't think it puts us out of it by any means, though obviously it makes the task more difficult. I just wish we had taken a couple of our opportunities, because we were much the better team tonight as we have been each time we have played them this season. Amazing really when you look at our relative league positions, but whatever I think we can progress to Moscow. This is particularly the case if Drogba puts in a performance like that in the second leg. I thought he was a disgrace, just going through the motions prior to his next big move.

All in all though, as per usual in Europe we put in a stellar performance. I thought Rafa got his team selection spot on, as well as his tactics and I really do think we can still go through from here. Onward and upward.

This game is far from over, although it has swung big time in Chelseas favour. We didnt take out chance in the match when we dominated and we payed the price - big time
