If any of these LFC players are feeling sorry for themselves after losing to Chelsea, then they better snap out of it pretty quickly. Manchester Utd will disappear over the horizon and secure second. We still have to hold onto third and an important game against Wigan is coming up next. Spurs are close behind. This is a pathetic result. We should be crushing teams like Charlton.

And to Messers Cisse, Crouch, Morientes, the big net behind the posts and the bar is called a "goal". The object is to "kick" or "head" the "ball" into it to "score" what is also called a "goal".

This is something I have believed for a long time.

That in the Champions League, little flicks and delicate passing might work, but in the Premiership against mid-table sides, you just can't do that.

You need a scrappy performance to win.

When one of their players gets the ball, you need to close him down immediately and use strength and power to tackle and protect the ball.

Of course it depends also on having strikers who can fight for balls in the penalty area and bury chances. Something that aside from maybe Fowler, we just don't have that.

we don't seems like getting a goal if an extra hour was played. thoroughly puzzled as we dominated the game and they could have beat us by 3 or 4 goals!!!!! I'm sorry but a striker of Morientes pedigree is wasted on the field tpday. We played 4 attacking players upfront and they contained us with ease. How many treatening shots have we made the entire game? am embarassed...
