Many Liverpool fans have happy memories of Istanbul and the turkish people , it's a pity those memories are now being spoilt . We always welcome opposing fans who want to talk football, celebrate the game to come and have a laugh . The Besiktas "fans" seem more concerned with winning "The biggest a'sreholes on the internet" trophy . We've had some right animals come on this forum mate but your lot have got my vote.

Come on mate, it's not as if a few wums trying to stir the sh!t on an internet forum are going to spoil our memories of Istanbul.

Maybe some of this lot have been particularly offensive, but there's no way it affects my view of turks or my memories of Istanbul.
Nothing will spoil those memories.

I hope we play good against your team and we both qualify. By the way; I've always loved Liverpool because of their knowledge about slapping Cheat$ki scum (I mean the team of Abrahamoney).

To Liverpool fans here: Please do IGNORE these guys. Not all Besiktas supporters are like these. In fact, these are quite a minority, and they terrorize the games even within Turkey with their knives, blades etc... Liverpool is always highly regarded and is one of the most loved foreign football clubs in Turkey, especially among Besiktas supporters. Liverpool's history (amazing eighties), legendary players (Dalglish, Fowler, ...) and of course the 2005 Istanbul are all too familiar for all of us. You are welcome in Istanbul again, as you were back in 2005. I hope they will be competitive games, although I concede you guys have quite an amazing team this year. While just taking part in CL is a good opportunity for a Turkish team, surprises do happen. Remember, we had beaten Chelsea back in 2003 in Stamford Bridge (I'm sure it made you happy :-), and that's the beauty of football. Again, I hope it will be friendly and fair games on both legs, and the better team on the field will win. Just keep calm and please stay away from bashing the Turks and Turkish teams by taking these guys seriously. There's no need for animosity, the game itself is supposed to create friends, not enemies.
