We all know how great Klopp is but this season I've noticed how he has been getting his tactics and subs bang on. On many occasions he has put the right subs and tweeks the system abit, we almost instantly see a positive impact.

That's a good point mate. I think I recall in the past Klopp was not always great with subs but recently the timely introduction of good subs have been gamechanging.

I don't know the stats but I think we've done far better in second halfs than in first halfs, and that's mostly due to Klopp adapting the system to the current match and making the correct subs.

I think the next manager is already a done deal....there is no way Jurgen would have made this announcement unless the club had given him the OK, because the replacement is top drawer or top of the Bundesliga to put it another way .

Sounds like the decision was made in November and was planned for the summer. Bitut a newspaper was going to break it tomorrow.

Utterly gutted. Haven't felt like this since King Kenny left in 1991.

Bit odd to me that all the coaching staff are going as well,  Lijnders would have been in with a reasonable shout of getting the job himself, strange that he should announce his departure at this point  as well. I’m not doubting he’s tired but I’d hazard a guess that trying to compete for the biggest prizes in the game whilst having mingebag owners has knackered him out.  Been a lot of back room departures at the club over the last 18 months too, can’t help but think that something has gone on.
As for the man himself what can you say? Right up there with Shanks, Bob &  Kenny. Utter legend who will never be forgotten, a man who won everything and very nearly won a lot more in an era where the foul stench of big money threatened to rip the heart and soul out of the game. Thank you for everything Jurgen Klopp, thank you for everything. Gutted.
