He could have been a useful squad-die player but I won't loose sleep over him going because at times he looked a very lackluster player.
Football is a relatively simple game and Roy knows it ;)

Well rid IMHO, never that good a player with a lot of ability but delivering little. We take a hit on this one, some you win, some you lose. The biggest hit is that he didn't work out, to me that is more important than whether we make a profit or not. After all this is a FOOTBALL CLUB and so results on the pitch matter, and with a better buy at whatever price, we'd have had better results. Not singling him out, but a number of signings like Dossena, Degen, Riera, Keane etc just don't help the club with the so called "progress" some claimed we'd made not so many months ago.

So maybe the first priority is to replace the revolving door with a combination lock door so only the right people with said combination get through (the combination being they are the right player and good enough for the club) So if anyone wonders why I for one worry about young players like Wilson, Shelvey and Sterling, it's because they add to the volume of traffic in and out of the club, and it may not be many years before they're passing another three on their way in as W, S and S make their way out. I'm hoping it won't happen, but the success rate in the past six seasons is way below the rate of players coming in and out
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Liverpool winger Albert Riera completes Olympiakos move

The 28-year-old completed a medical on Friday and signed a four-year deal, with Liverpool reportedly receiving £3.3m, potentially rising to £4.6m.

"During the last two years at Liverpool I didn't win any titles, so that's why I took the decision to come to Olympiakos, to win titles," he said.

"I have come to Olympiakos at the right time. I hope to help the team become one of the 10 best sides in Europe."

Riera fell out of favour at Anfield last season after claiming that Liverpool was a "sinking ship" under former manager Rafael Benitez.

Prior to joining Liverpool for £8m from Espanyol in August 2008, Riera played for Bordeaux and Manchester City.
