Valencia midfielder Pablo Aimar wants to move to England and join former boss Rafael Benitez at Liverpool.
Argentine international Aimar, 25, is not a regular in the Valencia side under Claudio Ranieri, the former Chelsea manager.

The midfielder told the Daily Star: "This season I'm not happy at Valencia.

"Rafa Benitez is an excellent coach who knows me very well and Liverpool would be an ideal place to go if I cannot sort out my future here."

Thers another thread very similar to this one and I said there that those who say we don't need him should take a count of the number of games the likes of Diao and Biscan have played. You could include Mellor as well. Anyone who thinks that sticking Aimar in instead of any of the above hasn't seen him play much in my opinion. Either that or to quote somebody on here, "they have absolutely no knowledge of football whatsoever".
