fabregas is young but technically brilliant, so why arent these lads?

Fabregas is better than our lads, unfortunately.

He started playing for the arsenal first team when he was 17, class act.

Hamill ran the show and scored two outstanding goals, lets remember this guy has been on loan to the SPL so he can play against tough players etc, its about time this guy moved up or does anyone know something i dont about why he is being held back, serioulsy he was head and shoulders above eevryone else yesterday

With the new 7 man benth rule id like him & anderson 2 stay we could bring them on in matches that were winning by 2 or more goals with 30 mins 2 go

Thank god you aren't the manager then. We'd be screwed if we got any injuries.

Hamill has agreed a new three year contract with Liverpool & been told by Benitez that if he shows the right application during his loan period he'll be training with the first team next season.

That's always good to read...I'd tend to trust what Rafa says to the young fella. I'll look forward to watching the youths and reserves on LFC TV....only problem is, I have it on a TV in the bedroom, and have to turn it down in case it wakes the baby....Not the same thing really....Either I get HIM headphones, or a pair for meself... :;):

Blackpool clinch Hammill on loan

Liverpool winger Adam Hammill has signed a new three-year contract with the club and immediately joined Blackpool on a six-month loan.

The 20-year-old Academy graduate will join up with the Championship side to gain further first-team experience.

The former England Under-19 international was part of the Reds' FA Youth Cup triumph in 2006.

Last season Hammill spent time on loan at Southampton making 28 appearances in an eight-month stay on the South Coast.

only 6 months eh

If he can’t even get into the starting elevens of Southampton or Blackpool what chance has he got of making it at Liverpool?

We are yet to see any youngster come through the ranks since Rafa got here. Quite depressing.

I'd like to see Rafa take a chance on Jay Spearing. I'd much rather see him playing than someone like Lucas. I've not seen anything significant from Lucas since he's been at the club.
