A NEW ERA HAS BEGUN ? FOR HOW LONG.
Before we all get totally carried away will somebody put my mind at ease and explain why a mgr joins a club spends three seasons with them , wins the league title twice in one of the worlds best leagues , picks up honours in europe and then decides to leave .
I don't want to rain on our parade,I believe Beni will be good for us BUT I don't understand his motives for coming to LFC,he was becoming a legend in Valencia .(their fans must be gutted) . I hope he shows more loyalty to us than he did to them.

One reason i know of and that is he wasnt getting on with the board at Valencia!
Maybe it would have something to do with them being in debt and not having the same vision as him!
Or not able to fund his plans

5 years.

Just watched the press conference and liked what he had to say.

No time limits, no potential targets, he liked Houllier's work and wants to build on it and bring in his own ideas.

He was also saying he knew his Valencia team were a good team but weren't perfect, he seems to aim for perfection through hard work and dedication.

He will hopefully be a success.

We've definately got the right man.

I just want to get home and see Spain v Greece as i'm sure there will be footage of the press conference on there and possibly some reactions from his former players!
I know Albelda still has massive respect and praise for him so i dont think the players feel like he walked out on them!
I'm sure its got more to do with those upsatirs!
Hopefully this will not be a factor at LFC as our board always give the manager 110% support!

He must put his first priority to make sure Owen and Stevie stay.
