Well with the weather as it is and the sh.ite on telly it may well be very soon .

, Guess that's what happenened to me,  snow and ice outside, fk all on TV , trawl through the archives and BINGO "Band of Brothers".

Second time around , paying attention to detail, infantry assault badges, ad hoc armour added to the german spg's etc etc .

As far as "war films" go, this is a work of dedication and respect.

Well im a big fan of war films but at present watching more of the sword type ones - last samurai , king arthur , gladiator type films but think tommz is time to start band of brothers .

Need to watch Band of Brothers first - been meaning to watch it for so long now but never got round to it .

You haven't seen that yet? Was the best thing on TV back in 2001. I can't believe it's been that long. I might just go and watch it again soon before The Pacific.

Woof, when is the pacific coming out? loved the first series

Last I heard it was due to be aired in the USA, March this year.

It will be airing in the UK on Sky Movies in November/December time I think. Feck waiting for that though, just download them as they come on from the US.

BBC don't have commercial breaks in between shows.

It has been advertised, just not that often. Given it's timeslot it is never going to rate well so it's not worth advertising during peak times. Sort of like when the Wire was on really late on BBC too.

Those who follow the show would have done their research and known it was on anyway, unless of course they had been following it as it aired in the states.

On the season itself it looks ok, the same as any other season. A series of events and people meeting other people in order to stop something bad happening or stop someone bad doing something bad lol Some of it is just getting stupidly cliche though. eg Claire Bennet desperate to start a new life but then throws herself out of a window where someone just happens to be watching, oopsy.

I only really watch it for Sylar and Peter. Everyone else is .
