On "cop shows" Maypax, try and catch "True Detective". The first couple of episodes are a bit slow, they are however sustained by top actors and a great script as they lay the foundations for the story.. Come episode four and the action begins to kick in.

We might be looking at a classic   :buttrock

True Detective is slowwwww :(
I just finished season 1 of Orange Is The New Black. It's basically a female version of Prison Break without the breaking out involved.
It's one of the best shows I've ever seen. Up there with Suits, Prison Break and The Killing.

Pretty good and that Kate Mara is something else.

Hot as she is I still see Kira from Planet of the Apes at times, oddly enough  :lookaround

the new ''Cosmos'' series by Neil DeGrasse Tyson is up, just a continuation or update of Cal Sagan's 80's series. I watched the first episode, and I have to say I loved it! they made it really entertaining and the visual graphics are sublime, looking forward to the next episode

Finally got around to seeing it myself and couldn't agree more, a worthy tribute to Carl''s legendary series.
Got a funny feeling though it wont rate well in USA bible belt  :D

Also after my holidays finally caught up with finales of True Detective and Black Sails .
Not sure what I think of True detectives ends, I guess with all flashblacks and a slow burn series, is eight episodes really enough.

Black Sails was bit of surprise , looking forward to how that pans out in the next season.

Oh well time to start on series 2 of Vikings while await Games of Thrones next month
