There is no quick fix solution for the mess this country finds itself in, there are so many things fundamentally wrong with it that it almost needs a priest, not a surgeon to give it a fighting chance.

We live a welfare state that rewards the people who exploit the loopholes, where a teenage girl who's only skill is getting knocked up every 12 months is entitled to more than the honest grafters who have to fight and scrape for every penny they earn. In turn this grinds them down, "wheres my house and car, and designer clothes?" they say, whilst drowning away life in some nightclub with there mates, and drinking themselves into a state where only a fight or a fock will satisfy there disillusionment. In turn cracks appear in there own lives, they marry and start families but the anger is still there eating away, eventually love turns to doubt, from doubt to resentment and from resentment to hate.

Because we as a people are never truely happy, we never have as much as the next person, a characteristic fuelled by the media to make us spend more, buy more useless :censored: we don't need, to fill the void that is there now that faith and religion have been "proven" to be hogswash. We are born, we live, we die. Thats it, but at least I had Sky+ and a Ford Mondeo, now put the lid on and drop me in the ground

So as this cycle is repeated up and down the country it infects more and more, people stop caring about each other and worry only about themselves, often striking out at others in a vain hope of inflicting pain to rival there own, the streets arn't a safe place for the vunerable to be, lawlessness takes hold and finally...................................................................................

..........................................................................................

..........................................................................ROB STYLES BECOMES A :censored:INNN REFEREE!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Good post there mate.

Thats the best idea of them all, I have thought about setting that up where I live, I know exactly who to target . Make them afraid of hanging around the streets at night, and at the same time help the people who are afraid of going out because of them.

Going to fill my footy sock with coins now, just like Charles Bronson, time to play them at their own game.

but dont you feel its like taking a step down to their lower levels?

It's a f#cking tragedy.

Personally, I think the issue of immigration is a red herring that people get worked up over while missing the real story - which is that the people who *really* benefit from the way this country's set up are the wealthy and super-wealthy, who own vast swathes of market housing (helping make property back-breakingly expensive) and increasingly seem to pay next to nothing in tax. So who does the (huge) tax burden fall on? The middle class and employed working-class, who can't afford the private education and private healthcare available to the rich, and then lose a huge chunk of their pay packets paying for the NHS and schooling of those who essentially choose not to work.

The result? A lot of people give up and leave, and you end up with a society made up of extremes - if you want to see how Britain's going to look in 20 years, I'd suggest the model would be Brazil (only without the nice beaches).

:(  Posted by his brother on Bluekipper.

QUOTE(GreatOJ @ Aug 23 2007, 11:06 AM)
I am Rhys' brother Owen, i took the time to setup this account just to inform you that Rhys wasnt part of any gang, he was shot in the back of the neck whilst walking home after finishing football training for his team, along with myself and our dad he is a season ticket holder in the top balcony, please do not think my brother was part of any gang, he was just an innocent boy in the wrong place at the wrong time,

He loved Everton, Loved playing football and idolised players such Lescott, Yobo, Arteta, AJ to name a few of his favourites, Spent all his money on every everton kit posible just to show how proud he was to be an evertonian, he was a cracking little player aswell, with the first touch, control and power over the ball as well as being capable of delivering crosses and scoring goals with his favoured left foot.

I hope you understand somewhat, the pain i and my family are feeling at the moment, and i hope to god that the thug that fired at rhys is caught and gets his punishment for taking such a promising life away and that this murder highlights the problems in our society and that something WILL now be done, because i do not want anybody anywhere blue or red feeling what myself and my family currently are...
R.I.P. My little brother you will never be forgotten.

... by the way rhys was walking with two of his friends, and the thug fired three shots, so we couldve easily been dealing with a triple murder, thankfully the other bullets hit the floor and a nearby car.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
