Thers probably an important life lesson for AB right here though. He's undoubtedly right in picking up St Mick, also he's spot on in his assumption that had he been the guilty party then the world and his brother would have shouted him down.
The question is why hasn't that happened in this case? In my view there are a number of reasons. Firstly, St Mike is a sensible, knowledgeable and reasonable poster in his own right so people will always cut him some slack. Secondly, I don't know about anyone else but the egotistical "I wrote this or that" matters not a jot to me. Similarly, whether he or somebody else who I haven't met either penned the thing makes no odds in my book.
The crux though and the life lesson is that AB is fully aware that he wouldn't have been afforded the same leeway. Why? he knows the answer, because he's not as respected. I for one think thats a shame as I enjoy reading AB's posts and find his passion and occasional outbursts of abuse quite funny. The lesson to be learned? maybe a little tolerance and people listen and appreciate a bit more. Much the same as young Roberts earlier with his excellent Tom Huddlestone thread, nobody can be surprised when some people are more equal than others.
