The England team have three leaders

Neville - you might hate him but he is strong mentally and a good player. a leader too.

Terry - He is already captain of  a very good team with some world class players

SG - you know that.

Does it really matter who has an armband on? besides the media stuff it makes F*** all difference to your personality out there.

I like the old fashioned Souness/Bryan Robson types who play in the middle of the pitch, get around and make their presence felt so I'd have given it to SG but it may be good for LFC that he didn't get it.

Face it, they were always going to choose a cockney over a scouser weren't they? That's the point I was getting at.
