I think you miss the point, He loves playing for England and he see being the captain as a great thing to be.
If he is unhappy then that will start to show in his play not just for England but for us.

I would love to see him win something as England Captain.

Obviously Lakes.  :suspect:

I could understand it if Stevie was going to be rested, otherwise it's a ridiculous thing to do.

Not surprised that Carra never gave a f.uck about playing for them.

"An early change for England as Steven Gerrard comes off after just half an hour. Daniel Sturridge comes on, so expect a tweak in formation for Stuart Pearce's men. Gerrard heads straight down the tunnel."

Is he injured. F'ucking stupidity, idiocy if he is.

I'm selfish and I want Gerrard to quit England for playing more for Liverpool

dont know how many of you picked up on the twitter stuff last night but just before kick off there were some posts saying that he was going to come off after 30min and had been very unhappy at the England camp.

I took it with a very big pinch of salt untill he come off on 32mins.

nobody cares thats why, Gerrard obviously does a bit otherwise he'd have just pulled out after 120 minutes of a final on Sunday but I'd bet the Liverbird mauls the three lions in his eyes
