Indeed, they were lovely strikes. :nod  On the topic of this lad, full marks to Lubos Michel for going back on the 2nd yellow for Kolodin once he consulted with his linesman.  Too many refs would have stuck to dishing the card rather than potentially looking wishy-washy with the world watching.  It was the right move to wipe out the 2nd booking, though.

Both in Liverpool and in Spain the team is what matters.

Plus, in a game there are 3 substitutions  :;):

Possibly. With the system the Italians use, we need to give relevance to the wide men.

How the fook did the Italians win the World Cup they are sucking the life out of the game (again).

They are showing very few signs of wanting to come out and play the game of football but you just know it'll be them scrawpy fookers that'll get one lucky bounce of the ball.

Very tactical game, difficult to know what will happen.. I don't like the ref, that was a foul.

I agree. Two possible fouls and one definite inside the penalty box and NONE called.

I think all Spain needs to do is catch the Italians off-guard, Spain's getting surrounded when they have the ball in Italian zone. One great pass away from a completely different game.
