This is brilliant to watch - 4 nil - bloody fantastic. . Just need red cards for Ronaldo , Carvahlo and Maureen to be sent to the stands to make it perfect .

people go on about how messi has never scored against a mourinho team. he has been absolutley outstanding here, ran the whole show. you can kick him, double team him and man mark him, but if he aint gonna score he will make sure someone else will. thats why hes the best player of an entire generation

the scary thing andy is Villa still hasnt reached his full potential in a Barca shirt, once hes firing on all cylinders he they will be on another level again.

I cant believe this but there is still 25mins of this game to go. Absolute pwnage here  :D

People always talk :censored: about Messi. Before it was Messi never scores with his head then last season he scored loads with his head, plus 1 in the final the year before against the Scum.

Then it was he never scores against English sides and he gets 4 against Arsenal.

Right him off at your peril is what I say.  :D He is without a doubt the best footballer of his generation.

when he retires i have no doubt that he will be regarded as the greatest ever.
For me at this moment it would be Maradona because of mexico 86 but Messi does it so often and is still only young.

We are all privileged to be watching the best footballer on the planet .... and couple that with Xavi and Iniesta and the football being played is absolutely sublime ...and Busquets influence on Barcelona's dominance grows greater every game  ...no wonder Mascherano cant get a look in the Lad never misplaces a pass, and has absolutely dominated the middle of the park ......
What a brilliant game of football ...Barcelona are untouchable at the moment

It's great to see - every La liga program on Sky they constantly go on about how wonderful Madrid and Maureen are and this puts them finally in their place - 5 nil - brilliant .

I was debating this in my head (??) during the match Ben.

This performance is both team and individual football at its best. This is one of the best displays of football I've seen. Unbelievable.

I've always maintained that Maradona was the best player I've ever watched, but Messi now must be considered a real contender. He's consistently producing football of a standard I've not seen since Maradona in the eighties. He's simply unplayable. I think he might be the best player I've ever seen.

A 5-0 thrashing followed by a classless meltdown from Real Madrid.  Mascherano can fook off.  Good luck getting a game in that team.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Best 5-0 since we beat Nottingham Forest in 87-88.
