And today we learn Madrid chairman Calderon is going to meet Schuster to ask an explanation for the results so far, ladies and gentlemen, yes, we're in August, that's Real Madrid for you.

They should have left Capello making a cleansing. They should have left the man that has brought any decent silverware in 4 years working. They didn't. They had to bring lots of names and a new coach, they had to win and making a good show.

The initial discipline measures Schuster imposed to the players --like sleeping in double rooms in concentrations rather than individual suits like rock stars-- are over after a quick talk of the captain who represents the clique.

They're a joke. And they'll always be as long as most of their fans are clueless Marca readers.

And then they'll wonder why Rafa refuses to go there.

I see Ramos, the Sevilla coach has revealed today that he turned down a "massive offer" to become Spurs boss. To be honest I don't really see how he'd have any better chance of getting Spurs into the top four than Jol.

Err I don't know Mike, maybe because he posses something that Jol lacks? I.e. tactical astuteness.

Read in Marca:

"Dudek is one of those Spasic(1)-esque players, that generate hilarity in the Crowd".

Well, now Casillas is injured the hilarity can become anger if he receives lots of goals.

(1) Serbian, player of the nineties. He wasn't bad IMHO but he had weird gestures, was ugly, and he was not good skillful enough for their liking.

Rumours today that Alves won't be going to Chelsea now and instead they're getting Belletti from Barcelona.

It's the equivalent of being told you're getting Torres and ending up with Leo Fortune West.

Coverage of La Liga pulled?  Is it both games on tonight, or just Real Madrid?

The madrid derby was pulled due to a media dispute. But the Sevilla game is still due to be shown.

You mean the conflict with La Sexta? I thought that was sorted out.
