Something is definitely wrong at Barcelona and I think that Rijkaard will be off in the summer.

But Capel does look like a class talent, he was tormenting Barca's  defense all night.  I hope that Arsenal don't get him.

Real Madrid lost away to Betis this weekend, whereas Barca just about scraped a win against Zaragoza. The deficit is now down to only 5 points with 14 rounds still remaining. It's getting more and more interesting again in La Liga (well at least between these two teams, the others are quite a few points behind).

I dunno about Van Basten he was a great player but he has as much managing experience as Klinsman, but on the other hand he could bring wonderful new ideas to the club.

How about if he goes to Barca, then we can get Rijkaard.  :buttrock

Sorry Nanny I missed this question.

Haven't paid much attention to the saga. In a nutshell the people at charge of the government when it comes to sports do not want the current Spanish FA chairman Villar in the charge and they want to force an election.

Villar has a lot of friends in the FIFA and one of them have backed Villar with that threat to the Spanish football.

The threat has been taken with arrogance and as a joke, no-one believes here they'll have the balls to exclude Spain and Spanish clubs from competition.
