I saw a programme on tv earlier and it had Gerrard on there picking his all time 11. Well actually it was called Gerrard + 10.

A cracking couple of teams there mate, I couldnt choose between Lothar Matthaus and Gerrard to begin with. Also I'm still not to sure about my right mid ?

LFC#1 I havent got a clue why Stevie left them out its bizare really because in his Gerrard dvd at Melwood he tells the camera that Diego Maradonna was the best player in the world

Maybe he only speaks of players he's seen live or played against? Most of the players he mentions are only of the last 15 years or so, Shilton and Moore are the only exceptions.

Perhaps a more likely explanation is that it's just the 10 players he would love to play with, not necessarily the 10 players he thinks are the greatest of all time. Yes that must be it as how the hell is John Terry there!?!

I guess stevie only picked players that he can remember in his time or he has played against or something
