Thompson? Beckham, Alan Johnson, Carragher(at full back), all below top quality.

Beckham is looking quite god at the mo at real

When you've got four brilliant Centre backs, you may as well use a player as good as Carragher in another position where he is just as comfortable

Who the hell is Alan Johnson? I'm talkin about Andy and at the moment I'd say he was better than Rooney.

I agree with you about Thompson. Playing in Scotland is hardly a test of ability.

I think thompson is ok on his day but it isnt his day that often. I couldn't really think of another so i shoved him in. We really need some Left midfielders. ps ace1983 your spanish team is good. We will have you as the eng manager instead of the swedish womaniser erikkson!!

Neville: I presume you mean Gary and not Phil-the poor man's Herman Munster. If Gary keeps his fitness keep him around, but I still say we go with JC.

Defoe: Quality striker, definatley in the squad, but not first choice. Close though.

Johnson: If he keeps up this form over next season, I'd put him in above Rooney definatley. If Sven had played him in his natural possition, he may have done more against Holland.

King: Squad player but for me, he's still behind Sol, Rio, Terry and JC.

That's my opinion.

I think in the future Defoe, Owen and Johnson Will make a fantastic strike force.
Owen with the experience
Johnson With the goals
Defoe with the pace

Owen has what AJ and JD have but AJ and JD don't have what Owen has.
