i cant see it. real brought owen for 8 million, arsenal brought reyes for 15 million... just cant see it happening. plus owen is actually loved by the fans (cant get a game, blame raul)
i think its mroe likely that ronaldo will leave madrid if they do go for reyes.
anyways its good right? if rea spend everythng on reyes and cole they wont go for our boys right?

Owen technically wouldn't fit into Arsenal's team. Wenger requires his
forwards to be more than just goalhangers i.e Jeffers
press have just thought Spaniard playing for an English team o.k Englishman playingfor Spanish team, would make sense to our readers???

Here in spain its more than a rumour...it has appeared in most sport newspapers so it has to come from somewhere...actually, there is a poll in today´s edition of AS on the net (www.as.com) asking people if theyd agree an exchange like that...now i have just seen theres a draw more or less (readers of AS are mainly RealMadrid supporters). Some journalists say that Reyes cant still settle in UK and thats the reason for his bad season...well, u know, sometimes press invent stupid rumours but...who knows?

I think it could actually happen. I remembered Arsene's admiration of Owen a couple of seasons back...a fox in the box or something like that.
I think Reyes is unsettled, thanks to the bullies by those rotten b@stards from Manchester. He's just too soft. Homesick? hmmm...
Anyway, by the time Owen is back in English league, Rafa would already have one season with our team and should have sorted out the weaknesses in the team while trying to get the players gel.
With a fully fit team (Alonso, Kewell, Cisse etc) and Gerrard staying, Morientes and Baros getting their strike partnership right and maybe a couple of new additions, I say bring on the gunners. We outplayed them once already this season remember?

i think the owen first refusal thing has never actualyl been confirmed and its just speculation, if we do have it then they couldnt do it but if we dont then its not an issue
