If we beat Wolves and we should, during Suarez's total bans of 9 matches we will have WON 6 LOST 2 DRAWN 1. Just how costly the poor Stoke and Bolton results were won't be known until the end of the season. The team have done very well without Suarez and Lucas.The future looks very positive!

Personally I think Luis will come back stronger than ever. His enforced rest which was long overdue will be a serious benefit to his game.I believe that he will actually revel in the abuse that will be sent his way by some moronic supporters!

My son plays classical guitar and last year learnt a piece by a famous old Spanish guitarist called Francisco Tarrega.

The piece was called Lagrima which means "the kitten" and was Tarrega's nickname for his wife.

My son is just learning a follow up piece which is named after his nickname for his son, it's called "El Negrito".

Tarrega died in 1909 but it shows how this would have been used as an affectionate term.

The rules get changed every few years as to what is acceptable and what isn't. For example describing a black person as coloured is now regarded as offensive and that was not the case in the past. It is difficult for decent non racist non blacks not to make genuine mistakes.I have myself. Just look at how quickly Alan Hansen made a public apology after using the word coloured on Match Of The Day! Genuine racism is an absolute disgrace and everything possible should be done to rid it from society. Genuine mistakes on the other hand are another thing!

Luis Suarez is taking extra English lessons to avoid a repeat of his ban for racially abusing Patrice Evra.
The Liverpool striker was given an eight-match suspension for calling the Manchester United left back ‘negro’ and feels the charge came about because of his lack of understanding of the language.
The word ‘negro’ is commonly used in a non-offensive way in Uruguay but despite arriving in Europe in 2006, Suarez claims he was not aware of its meaning in English.

I couldn't agree more. I have long hair and when I play football, I get called a hairy b*stard, hippy, scruff, the whole works. I respond with fat b*stard, lanky streak of p*ss, spotty f*cker....whatever. Afterwards we all go for a pint and a laugh.

Evra is a discgrace to sport, England, black people, white people, well, the human race.

In many ways, this is correct. Most "racism" reported or called against is really just a case of one person using the lowest common denominator insult against another person. In most instances, the "racist" is nothing of the sort and has simply chosen to use colour or creed in a very harsh (and rather stupid) fashion to extend their aggression toward their immediate opponent.

Real racism, on the other hand, is a far more insidious thing than simply spouting off "you black bastard", or something, in the heat of an argument.

Football is steeped in racism. There are only 2 of the 92 league managers who are black. Uriah Rennie is the only top flight black referee I know of. And of course those bastions of anti-racism, the FA have NO black people on their top committees.
