The piece was called Lagrima which means "the kitten" and was Tarrega's nickname for his wife.
My son is just learning a follow up piece which is named after his nickname for his son, it's called "El Negrito".
Tarrega died in 1909 but it shows how this would have been used as an affectionate term.

This is what you get when you support your player and teammate, statements, t shirts the lot

I couldn't agree more. I have long hair and when I play football, I get called a hairy b*stard, hippy, scruff, the whole works. I respond with fat b*stard, lanky streak of p*ss, spotty f*cker....whatever. Afterwards we all go for a pint and a laugh.
Evra is a discgrace to sport, England, black people, white people, well, the human race.
I'm so glad Saurez has took this all like a man whilst the lil cry baby sucks his thumb with the FA's arm around his shoulder.
i think you've missed the whole point of racism and what it is.
I think so too.

What racism is, and what the FA percieve racism to be are very, very different things. If ever you've seen first hand true racial hatred such as I have, the word 'negro' is very lightweight. To cry like Evra did is an insult to all those who have suffered racism.

it wasn't just the 'negro' stuff...Suarez called him other stuff too and it wasn't meant in jest.
It's best to move on...but trying to laugh off racist remarks isn't the way forward and it's important to recognise that.
