Also I feel the weather really affected Barca's play.  They're used to nice sunny Spain, not this miserable rainy weather they've got in England.  it's not just the home fans affecting the game in this tie, but the weather as well.
DESPITE THE FACT I LIVE IN CALIFORNIA...

contrary to popular belief it does actually rain in spain as well. barcelona in the winter can be fairly miserable when it wants to be, and where i live it hasn't stopped raining for almost 2 weeks.

I thought the rain in Spain was mainly on the plain....

This match confirms to me that despite our recent record against Spurs, I would have preferred them in the final.

I just cant stand those bloody Chavs

Chelsea executed their appalling tactics really well last night.  The Stoke City of European football is what it reminded me of.
Once they got their goal against the run of play with their only shot on target they just put 11 men behind the ball and defended for their lives.

Their gameplan is simple now for the 2nd leg.  Defend for their lives again and try to nick a goal.

I'd love to ask all those numpties (Joe Cole and Alan Hansen I'm looking at you!) how great their beloved Terry is now after he's just single handedly cost the Chavs their chance of a Champions League final.

John Terry you are a legend sir, take a bow.  :bowdown  :D

I can, when a team just sits back and let you come at them its very hard, you are always open to a shock attack.......as liverpool fans we know this by our own last game.

Sly Sports calling it the greatest performance ever!!  ???  ???

Ahem, Istanbul 25/05/05

Coming from three goals down in the biggest cup final in club football within 45 mins kinda trumps getting a draw with 10 men behind the ball for the best part of 90 mins in my book.
