So far so good.  Been great to see a team close Barca down as aggressively as Bayern has today.  Well deserved.

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Martinez and Schweinstieger have been very impressive

Based on one game ?

When Bayern actually win the thing then it's possible to judge - until then it's still 12 years since they won a European trophy.

Officials have been ***** yet again, I mean what is the f-ing point of those guys behind the goal. They've missed one blatant penalty a marginal offside goal and a clear foul leading to a goal, all less than 3 metres from where they're stood.

Credit to Bayern though, they have destroyed a very poor Barca side with very poor management by Vilanova, his team have been played off the park and it takes him 80 mins to make any changes.

Despite cruising to the league title Barcelona have not played as well as in recent season. Even with Messi continuing to score so many goals they’ve just lacked some zip throughout their team. I’m sure missing their manager for so long didn’t help along with most of their players being in the Spain squad who went all the way in the Euros. Bayern in contrast have looked formidable from the beginning of the season.

I think Bayern has the best midfield and overall coordination between players that I haven't seen in years. Their success in the Bundesliga was impressive, but this performance was on a whole different level considering their opponents. Messi nowhere to be found, Xavi and Iniesta struggling to make a pass in Bayern's half. Barce didn't even have a shot on goal. Although maybe the second and the third goal shouldn't have been allowed, Bayern totally deserved the result. Hopefully for them, they won't f*ck up in the final again.

Bayern is the best team in it. They have performed the best throughout the competition apart from maybe the loss to Arsenal. However I have a feeling this trophy is destined for Dortmund.

Like us in 2005 and Chelsea last year. We wasnt the best teams in it but we did everything it took and certain things points towards destiny.

Gerrards goal V olympiacos and The ghost goal v Chelsea for us in 2005

The messi penalty miss for Chelsea last year

Dortmunds remarkable comeback against Malaga last round.

Officials are ruining the competition this year.
Won't be at all surprised if it happens again tonight

German final on Wembley

I have to say though, this must be the most exciting Champions League season for me since we stopped participating.

Ha.  Stopped participating.  I suppose that's one way to put it.

Great performance today by Dortmund.  Amazing how downcast Madrid looked after the second goal went in.
