Does that mean that argentina will go through to the last 16 if they win?

If Argentina and Holland win they'll both go through, which will be a shame because the Ivory Coast will go out.

2-0 Cambiasso, lovely strike.

That Cambiasso goal was incredible, fantastic team move. The one-touch passing, movement and finish was superb. Martin Tyler said it is one of the best ever World cup goals he's seen, and although I'm only relatively young I haven't seen many better team moves, world class!

Saviola has been outstanding, and is justifying Pekerman's decision to pick him ahead of Tevez. This Argentina team look the real deal, the showed the can win in tough circumstances against ivory Coast and have put on a absolutely masterful first half display, easily the best 45 mins of any team in the tournament thus far.

Taken from the BBC forum, you gotta love the honesty - 1517: Found-23 You
"I hate you Argentina - not because I dislike you, but because you are playing how the beautiful game should be played. PLEASE, God show us(England) a light for we are in the dark."

Spain now seems to be favourite, yet Serbia showed to be solid and ended up first in the qualification round. I'm a bit gutted for them, because they know doing better than that, I expected them to do better.

Conclussion, the favourites thingy is useless, the level of the teams is very paired, and anybody can go home early.

But Argentina seems to be solid. If I was to put my money on one team, they'd be the one.

Tevez is dope!!!  Real Madrid should buy him.  They need a striker and they have money.  Get Tevez!!!

6-0!!! Wow! time to wax lyrical about this Argentina team. :D

We won't see a better performance than that in the World Cup i'm sure, the ability Argentina have up front and in midfield is scary. Their movement, touch and ability to find space and execute fantastic passing moves is a joy to watch. Unlike England, the formation is very good, and the team seems very balanced, and when you can bring on Messi and Tevez, two of the best young players in the world, it's very impressive.

Perhaps one weakness is the back 3 which could be exposed by a side with good wide players like Schweiny and Schneider for Germany and Figo and Ronaldo for Portugal (who they could meet next round).

Great performance though, and Argentina defo look a very good chance of winning their 3rd World Cup.

and my new favourites are.... ARGENTINA!  :D  Phenomenal performance, played football that england could only dream of playing, really awesome. Thats why england wont win the world cup, when there is such quality like them in the competition. SENSATIONAL!

Thats was awesome. The best team performance i have seen in ages. Every goal was superb and the second has to be one of th greatest in world cup history. S&M arnt as bad as argentina made them look either. The argies provided a perfect example of what it takes to win this world cup, their build up play and short passing, craft and vision is a joy to watch and england could really learn alot from them. It was quite simply a masterclass in attacking football. They are hot favourites to win it now, the form they are in.

England fans will watch that and idiots will still say "we have the best 2 midfield players in the world" and ring in talk sport and compare Rooney to Pele & Maradonna.  Messi was on for 13 mins and by all accounts from what we have seen already he looks like he will be a great.

Andy Gray before the World Cup said England have the best sqaud in the tournament.  What a joke!!  He obviously hasnt seen the Argentina bench.
