The owners get some points for not selling Sterling too early and having a replacement already bought in.

They look to have learnt, don't haggle until deadline day when you end up with Balotelli.

Rumour going around that FSG have big announcement to make on the 1st of july.
People are predicting that they're selling up to a Dubai based consortium.

Would that be a good thing?

Rumoured that Klopp is taking over and also they are appointing his number two but just rumours

Would be surprised to see them sell up until the stand is built and future expansion is planned

Most likely naming rights partner for the main stand.

No way are they going to sell up  :no
I have read similar rumors about a big announcement on the 1st of july but that could be anything from officially announcing the new signings to the new management structure and their excuses as to why the set-up is changing.
Another rumor was that they are in talks with klopps no 2  :eyebrow

Whatever it is we will know in a few day's  :nod

There is a post doing the rounds that they are selling to a Singapore billionaire

The money for Firmino has come from him and the reason  BR hasn't been confirmed as manager for next season ( didn't realise a club has to do that ) is because they might not want it

The source is some bloke on Twitter and Facebook

Personally I think its BS but really hoping they sell up and soon.

They just aren't cut out for football and have been pretty much clueless since Day 1.

Their spin machine has convinced a few on here that they seem to be doing a great job, which is laughable really. And just goes to show you how gullible some our supporters are.

The only problem that I have is that we have no faith that they will pass ownership to someone better than them. As they will be looking at it from a purely a financial point of view, as in how much profit can they make off us. Much like Moores and Parry stitched us up eight years ago only later on to cry crocodile tears into the wads of cash they were using as handkerchiefs.   :no

^^YEP^^
It's too early for FSG to pack bags. We need them here at least until 2-3 seasons after main stand completion.

Basing the only reason why they should stay, "because we can do much worse", is not a valid reason for them staying.  :no

The reason they should stay is because they are improving the club - they are doing things that should have been done 25 years ago. They are increasing our revenue , building the stadium.

I can't see them going but it would be a good time for them to leave if they are here just to make a fast buck.
Forbes have just valued us at just under a billion dollars and to break into the top 4 (and stay there) in this country takes some doing and serious money, United missed out on CL footy just once and went wild with the chequebook and you can bet your bottom dollar that what they spent would be small beer compared to what City or Chelsea would spend if they were ever to miss out.

Improvement? What improvement?

We have gone 6th, 8th, 7th, 2nd and 6th under them.

Also why do we keep raising revenue as our main priority?

Our league finish is the be all and end all of our existence. Enough with this revenue rubbish.

We don't support a f**king bank.

This "revenue" rubbish is what we need to buy players

This "revenue" rubbish is what the mancs did 24 years ago to build up their stadium , to build up their squad - it's what we failed to do

Nowhere does it say that revenue is a main priority ?!

They are doing what is needed to attempt to build the club up. They are doing what we should have done years ago
