Liverpool Football Club - Games

Lets get back to winning ways. THese lot should be a walk in the park however they have won 2 games in a row so we shouldn't take them lightly.

With lallana out same line up i guess.

Came in here to post that we should be getting 3 points but we shouldn't approach it thinking it should be a walk in the park and you've used that exact phrase in the first post  :D

We really need to be beating sides like this if we have any sort of genuine title aspirations, especially at Anfield.

I'd like to see Sturridge start this one. Looked very sharp last week, would've been our best chance at scoring if he'd played more than 15 minutes.

We have to win this game, especially after the slight hiccup last week. They have one a couple in a row, but no reason we shouldn't turn these over.

I feel Hendo, Wijnaldum and Can is a bit too defensive.
Lallana is more of an attacking minded player that starts our press so will be missed.
I would consider Studge starting.

           Hendo
     Can/Wij   Coutinho

Mane                 Firmino

           Studge

We'll definitely lose with this line up mate. It's 6 vs 11 and I dont think Hendo makes a good goalkeeper...

I agree, against Southampton I felt our midfield was a little bit too crowded, three players basically doing the same thing. I'd go with your line-up as well, only Origi instead of Sturridge, since Sturridge will apparently sit this one out due to minor injury. And preferably with a defence behind those players :D

As for the game itself, I think we'll win but it's not going to be comfortable. I think Sunderland are a bit more dangerous than their position suggests, and Defoe is in form and will be difficult to handle. I expect a close win, 2-1 to us.
