Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby red till i die!! » Tue May 08, 2012 1:47 am

it will be interesting to see how we pick ourselves up after sunday's disapointment and a couple of players need to prove they are worthy to be here next season.
all we have left to lay for is pride and 6 points to help us move up a place or two in the standings.
they have the cl final in 2 weeks and still are in with a slim shot at 4th so they might field a full side in search of 3 points.
i expect us to beat them and surely andy carroll will have to start this one.
ill go for 2.0.
cmon redmen last home game of the season so go out and tw@t them :buttrock

Torres is certain to start for them, so I’m guessing he’ll score. Not looking forward to this game as it looks like the players just want the league campaign to end and don’t seem to give a sh*t. Lets hope we can salvage some pride.

:nod , would love to keep them out of the top four and then see them get beat by Bayern, fcking up their season would ease some of the disappointment surrounding ours.

Will be very interesting to see the line ups for both teams tonight.

Skertel to break Torres' legs.
Skertel to head-butt Terry right on the hooter.
Skertel to cause Dogba a 'real' injury, preferably knocking out all his teeth.
Skertel to occupy fwank by giving him a boat load-a pies to eat in the center circle.
Champions of England 2020.

I’m sure Chelsea will rotate heavily so Kenny would be wise to freshen things up a bit from Saturday or we might get overrun. I think it’s worth taking a look at Coady as an option at DM, and also the progress of Robinson considering that Aurelio will probably not be here next year.

                   Reina

Kelly     Skrtel     Carragher    Robinson

            Coady     Gerrard

        Kuyt     Suarez     Maxi

                    Carroll

Subs: Bellamy, Shelvey, Downing, Henderson, Johnson, Coates, Doni

I too fully expect Carroll to start and I believe he'll score as well. He's bound to be fired up having seen his 2nd goal ruled out on Saturday and having had their defence in his back pocket for the time he was on the pitch I think he'll be unlucky not to score.

No matter what the starting line up the team should be fired up to gain a little revenge for Saturday (and by god most of them owe the fans a proper performance after only turning up for half an hour) but with this current squad I have very little faith in them doing that.

If I took a crossbow to Anfield tonight and took out one of Terry's  gonads  ,it still wouldn't make up for the disappointment of this season mate.   :D

Although I suppose I would  feel a hell of a lot better  :;):

If Carroll scores tonight it'll be really funny if he went into the goal to collect the ball ran back out of the goal and put it in again...   just to make sure.

or if he stopped to ask Cech 'is that in?'

I cant seem to pick myself up for this game at all...  :(

Ill be happy if we can prevent Chelsea from getting 3 points and somebody injure Drogba.  I know that sounds awful and childish but I just cant stand the guy.  Hate him more than any other player in world football and would love if he missed the CL final.

we have to win! the prospect of Bayern beating them, and us preventing them from taking 4th place, which sees them with us in next season's Europa League is too good to pass.
