Not sure about this Promes fella, I was rather hoping that we'd set our sights a bit higher tbh. Then again I wasn't that keen on Mane and he turned out to be a great signing so what do I know.

Would seem the Barbosa speculation carries more weight with follow up rumours Inter are interested in taking Lucas.

Quincy does appear to be a carbon copy of Mane looking at YouTube though, very similar, arguably too much so given if your spending good money at least try for something different.

Lucas talks with Inter seem to have some substance.
Give  that Sakho is out of favour i would prefer to keep Lucas atleast until end of the season.
Unless Klopp has plans of buying another CB in Jan.

Th Lucas deal appers to be on. Either he rates Gomez or he's bringing someone in as a replacement, because Sakho won't be returning anytime soon

Watched Van Dijk today in southamptons game against spurs. Got to be honest, although he got a goal, didn't look anything special. In fact, on that performance, don't think he is much of a upgrade on Lovren. Maybe just a bad game but with the money being talked about, City can have him and I'd trust JK to go and find another gem like Matip for a fraction of the price

Yeah must admit I thought the same, if City want to spend £50m on him they are welcome to him!
He did have a good game against Everton when I last saw him but no way is he worth £40m-£50m.

Considering the window is opening on Sunday we haven't really been linked with many players so it looks like it could be a quiet January.

Never really showed any consistency. Still quite young though. Seems to be on the fringes at Arsenal and never really cemented a place in the team.

Could be worth a punt if JK sees something and hes still young enough for JK to mould him. Think he has the talent but not really pushed on.

Could be a Sturridge/Coutinho type signing where a young player has lost his way a little but given the oppurtunity could really blossom at us.

Thing is, he talks about wanting first team football but would have a fight on his hands to get into our forward line as it stands.

I like Oxlade-Chamberlain. Supposed to be the next big thing... supposed to be better than Walcott. I think the influx of foreign players like Ozil severely limited his growth. Should have left arsenal long time ago. If he can be had for reasonable sum like 15-18 million, I'd take the risk on him. He'd be eager revive his career... similar to Sturridge...

Ox gets too many injuries, for that reason i would stay clear.

Decent player when fit though. Would benefit from a run of games in the same position. He has been a victim of his versatility.

Oxlade Chamberlain is a decent player but I can't see Arsenal selling us anyone. You only have to look at the 'anti Arsenal' clause in Firmino's contract to see how frosty relations are between the 2 clubs.
