The movies were possibly the best horror comedy films ever made and the tv series looks to continue that tradition, the first episode is directed by Sam Raimi who directed the original movies

Got hold of season one and have watched a couple of episodes so far, it's pretty good.
I haven't read the book so I'm a bit confused by the content of the newsreels being sent to The Man in the High Castle as they apparently contradict the premise of the story, i.e. the Axis powers won the war .
