Mate, I'm always against taking another teams players as part of a deal. I always feel they're not here by choice and therefore wonder about their commitment.

I do agree with you on that mate, was just adding on a couple of players i thought would fit our team and style was all :D

Coentrao is a top class left back and would love us to go for him anyway

Isco i just added because he is a very talented up and coming player

But suppose i should have said, negotiations begin at 100 million  :)

Dear Liverpool Supporters,

We've still got a few positions available in our Liverpool games on Thursday 22nd May. So if you've not signed up to play already you've still got the chance to Live the Dream at Anfield this season!

As a player in Football Aid 2014 you'll experience exclusive behind the scenes access, a fully personalised strip waiting for you in the changing room, the revered run through the famous tunnel onto the hallowed Anfield turf and the unique opportunity to play an 11-aside match alongside Liverpool legends like Jan Molby, Alan Kennedy, Howard Gayle, and Mark Wright at Anfield.

Due to a few unfortunate cancellations the following positions have become available again:

Game 1: the 90min Home No 11 Striker available to Buy Now for £1,190, the 90min Away No 1 GK available for £295 and the 45min Away No 6 CM available for £440.

Game 2: the 90min Away No 1 GK available to Buy Now for £295.

Game 3: the 90 min Away No 4 available to Buy Now for £650.

To secure your position and grab the chance to "Live the Dream" at Anfield just visit the Liverpool Club Page, choose your Event and position and select the Buy Now option!

Alternatively if you’d like to discuss anything further or wish to make an offer for any of these last available positions, please call us on 0131 220 5999.

We'll listen to any decent offers close to the asking price that will benefit our charities at this stage.

Thanks in advance if you choose to support us this season.

Woof - come on, what exactly was wrong with Antonio Nunez   A possible indication of just what those miserable kunts at Real Madrid will try and get away with. The price should be a minimum of £100m and tell them to keep their part exchange shight to themselves.

Woof this makes for better reading: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/ ... ce-3522641

The Spanish press are worse than ours. just look at the mountain of garbage they came out with last summer.

The press article link that I posted gives a very clear impression of Luis's intent.

This close season is make or break for Luis. We should refuse any bids until after the World Cup as he is bound to have a good tournament and add 20 million onto his value.

Regardless, if he sticks to what he has said in the media he will stay and become a real Liverpool legend. If he goes then he will become a nearly guy.

Ah, OK, so you're referencing my comment

ultimately despite signing a new long term contract so much will depend on whether Luis still wants to stick with us.
?

Despite his tears Dev, once the emotions of the moment have died down I wouldn't bet my house on Luis coming out and declaring he's not interested in any offer Real Madrid may make.

I'd be delighted if he did BUT even after signing a new contract when have we seen Luis actually saying  he has no interest in leaving Liverpool  ?

Exactly. We nearly lost Gerrard the summer after Istanbul.

we need to hold on to top players like him for so many reasons and the least being money. he's the best player we have and not easily replaced especially for the amount we will want to spend.
sad to think that some are even speculating on how much city will give us for him  :help if he does a torres then thats a different story but under no circumstances should we be selling our best players to anyone in the prem.

Err.....my motto has always been you don't become a better side by selling your best players, as I said earlier in the thread I never said that is what I want to happen.
I was just mulling over what Ian Ayre said a couple of months ago about big name clubs waiting in the wings preparing to make huge bids for Luis in the summer.

Seeing Suarez leave will be the ultimate cruel blow to this season. Hope he has a terrible world cup, might put off a few buyers.

Something tells me we're not gonna have anything similar to last summer this time around. I'm sure he's said something along the lines of 'don't worry about me' in relation to him leaving - indicating that he'll be playing in the CL with us next season. I do worry about Real coming in tho, he seems to have a soft spot for them, as do they for unsettling any targets they have
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

They wouldn't give us both, Contreao should be part of any deal though.

Luis is like your pretty girlfriend or your rich husband -- you always knew someone is not gonna stop trying to hit on them.
