I dont want to be negative, but I think Suarez will start on the bench for this one.
We seriously need to pull our socks up and improve for this one. I think they will field a strong side. If we play like v Southampton again, we will get tonked 4-0.

I would rest Gerrard & sturridge for this game

                                   Mignolet
           Kelly       Toure       Sakho       Enrique
                                 Lucas
                       Hendo           Allen/Alberto
                   Sterling    Suarez    Moses

or maybe put Aspas up front with suarez on the left

Agreed. Thats probably the line up I would go with aswell.

The the league game, Gerrard, Sturridge and Agger back in for Allen, Sterling and Sakho.

Mr Moyes has not got the nous to beat Liverpool FC. We'll see it again on wednesday night, they'll run around like wallys and never get anywhere.

Man u 1 - 2 LFC

edit: changed us to the away team before some smarty pants pulls me on it.

Toure has to start at CB. The only outfield player who can hold his head high after that defeat against the Saints. Him and Mignolet were our better players.

I'd have Sakho and Toure at the heart of our defense. I'd rest Gerrard too, apart from Aspas he was the second worse player on that pitch, that said Henderson and Lucas weren't much better. 'MIDFIELD a concern or not'?  :nod  :help  :(

It's time these lads put that defeat behind them and make Urniteds season worse.

Mignolet

Kelly
Skrtel
Agger
Enrique

Lucas
Henderson
Gerrard

Sterling
Suarez
Moses

If Allen is fit then possibly have him in instead of Gerrard

Think Alberto could start

Our options in that midfield are dire in numbers and possibly quality.

Although I think he needs a rest, there's not a chance that Gerrard isn't starting this game. Why the hell would the manager leave him out of this game after he started him against Notts County at home? Makes no sense.

Looks like I'm going to f*cking miss it  :glare:

Apparently, Agger won't be fit and he wasn't fit even against Southampton, and that's why he made the mistake for the goal. He might be rested for this one. But Enrique will probably be available.

I'm thinking about starting with a 5-3-2 formation, if Kelly isn't fit enough yet. Risky, but I would go for something like this:

                         Mignolet

                Toure   Skrtel   Sakho
Henderson                                Enrique
              Gerrard  Lucas  Alberto

                      Aspas  Suarez

If we want to keep it simple, I'd go with this:

                         Mignolet

           Kelly     Skrtel   Toure   Enrique

                      Lucas    Hendo

                           Alberto

               Suarez   Aspas  Moses

Whatever we play, I'd like to rest Sturridge. As much as we'd need him, the league is more important. We have Suarez anyway. As for Suarez, I'd like to see him wide or behind the striker (Aspas). He should start getting used to not being a striker. Also, if we play Aspas he should play as a striker or not play at all.

I nearly planned to miss it by accidently scheduling a business trip to paris. Moved flight earlier to accommodate, now let's hope French TV doesn't let me down by not showing it. Streaming will be Sh*t on Hotel wifi.

RVP definitely ruled out for them (although I doubt he'd have started anyway).

I would definitely give Kelly some minutes tomorrow just so he can on the weekend vs Sunderland.

Rest Gerrard, Sturridge, Toure, Agger Moses and Hendo.

Not sure if Cissohko is back ??

Would play

Mignolet

Kelly
Skrtel
Sakho
Enrique

Lucas
Allen
Alberto

Aspas
Suarez
Sterling

Would put Ibe on at some point.

i hope we at least put some sort of performance in tomorrow, the last 2 games have been shocking.
the midfield needs to get it`s @rse into gear and start dictating games instead of dropping back and inviting pressure onto us.
