have a look at his performance against roma in pre season, he only loses the ball about twice and he looks very comfortable in possession, against a decent side as well

(not worth embedding the clip it`s too small to make out whats going on, that link above is better)

look how he sprints to get the ball back after adam scores the equiliser as well.

Never has there been a better chance for young players to step up to the mark than
there is at Liverpool right now, the door is wider open here than at any top club in
Europe surely.

Borini looks average to me despite his age but then again with funds so tight these
days and a manager looking to make a mark we ended up with lads Rodgers knew
and who would come and play for us. Limited options really.

Roma screwed us on the price having paid half what we did not long back but then
again they knew we really wanted this player.

Time on his side Borini but plenty to prove certainly.

I'd love him to prove me wrong, and develop into a 20+ season striker, but i fear he's one of the many over rated youngsters to pass through our ranks. I fully expect him to leave for nothing in a year or two and vanish into the ether

i dont think pacheco will ever be a great goalscorer mate, borini is a better leader of the line and has better movement and striking instincts but when it comes to playing that wide role in a front 3 i think pacheco is better suited to that role.
pacheco can go past a man, is more creative on the ball and links up with other players better, i think he at least deserves a chance, as i said he played well in pre season and looks probably the best player in the U21`s at the moment
no doubt as you say he`ll probably be moved on because for some reason his face doesnt seem to fit but the lad is playing well, there`s not much else he can do.

After 4 games? What do you think? Give him some time and he might just start the goals flowing...

Based on what ive seen thus far, id rather have Bellers, Dirk or Carroll in his place.

Seeing as Bren has subbed him off twice in the 50th when we need goals it looks like he thinks the same thing.

He was limping on his way off
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

i think your all being a bit harsh. he makes great runs behind the defence. i just think he would work better with carroll than suarez.

Put him on the bench and Start Suso next game. He won't regret it. Suso already looked more poised and more skilled. I just hope fans try not to have to high an expectation as Borini at most would be a decent squad player. Don't expect him to be someone special. It wasn't his fault that he is starting, just that Rodgers should give him more time and would be best suited as a sub from the Bench.

Anyway, I hate this feelings but seems like Des jevu all over again.....somehow to me, it looks like another Hicks and Gillette eventually.

He's totally ineffective for a striker.

I never noticed him today, and he is a forward.

He is played more as a winger.
