Genuinely can't see Rafa coming back even if Kenny does leave after the season finishes I don't think these owners want to go there. If Kenny does leave surely the lesson is not to go back to someone from the past.

My guess is it will be someone like Hiddink, Capello or possibly Van Gaal someone experienced and with a strong record for a top European side who's well respected. The likes of Klopp and Villas-Boas would be risky for different reasons as would someone like Rijkaard.

well the footy echo today seem`s to be taking the stance that mistakes have been made and the league form has been nowhere near good enough but kenny deserves the chance to put it right. if a change of manager was imminent you`d expect them to know, especially if your mate does! unless he`s on the board!

Seen lots of posts on twitter saying Kenny will be gone after the weekend. Hope they are wrong. Only one sports reporter has posted his going so he is just picking up on others post and not based on real info.

I want Kenny to be given another season, but if the Owners aren't going to back him in the transfer market because they don't trust his judgment then it's best to sack him and replace him with a manager they will back.

If Dalglish is given sizeable investment, then I hope he'll utilise it a lot better than last summer and I hope he'll try to attract a better calibre of footballer.

I was reliably informed from a very reliable source , who is a Red and not a bitter blue, that Kenny will still be our manager for the forth coming season 2012/13.This is not being twittered or passed from one unreliable media hack to another.

@GuillemBalague: Lfc owners have decided to keep Dalglish. But they are looking for a DoF. Will someone like Txiki Beguiristain work with KD? Intriguing

Yes why would the club want one of our best managers in recent times back at the club.

I think you'll find the general consensus within the media is Kenny is indeed staying, albeit on thin ice.

A press conference where he told the truth ? What a bag of Sh*t

You ignore all the top 4 finishes he got ( the top 4 finish you constantly crave )

Ignore our best prem season in 20 odd years

Ignore the CL win and FA Cup win and concentrate on a press conference - I wouldnt expect anything less from you .

i think a personality clash with a new DOF is the only way Kenny will leave over the summer. The board are upset, because they were led to believe that their investment last summer was enough to push us on to a top 4 finish...but they won't sack Kenny. He's got this summer and the first few months of next season to prove he can turn it around. However, the pressure next season is going to be massive

that's a video of a man cracking up under pressure of top flight football. Rafa had his chance, he spent something like 200+ million on players and it was time to move him on.  Besides, after his COME AND GET ME CHELSEA plea on telly a few months back, i think a fresh approach with a new manager would be the only way forward if Kenny leaves at somepoint.
