I thought it was great (personally), love all that bollox about conspiracy theories, CIA and what not.

The ending of season 1 was a bit 'meh,' at the time of watching I didn't realise there was a second season - hopefully it will be as good as the first.

Well worth the wait

Beginning to regret reading all the books, it's spoiling some of the enjoyment for me, 1st episode of the new season has just skipped past loads of stuff  :(

@Mags re Big Bang Theory. Never seen the show until the other day (went for a haircut and the Barber had it on his TV) a good laugh, came home and DL'd the first season   :)

Woof, I'm watching Big Bang Theory Season 5 now, still funny and still got it IMO. I actually preferred season 2,3,4 to 1. The interesting thing is that in Season 1, the characters and the chemistry between them aren't fully developed in the beginning yet. As they get developed, it gets funnier and funnier... that Sheldon character must be one of the funniest character ever created and acted out by a great actor... he just outshines the rest...

Big Bang Theory thinks it is funnier than it is though. Almost takes itself too seriously. Great show, but the jokes are getting a little predictable now, and the introduction of the women makes it just formulaic and a bit meh.

As I have said, watch Community for what is probably the funniest show on tv at the moment.

Im still enjoying Big Bang but for me it has peaked and will start to slide. This last series has had some and hit and miss episodes and I agree introduction of women characters hasnt enhanced the show. Its put the group dynamics out of whack and we have dont have as much of Howard sleaze which is big loss

Mate that one was ages ago, the last episode with Stephen Hawking was pretty good but this season still has been hit and miss for me. Still it's all Eye of the beholder

2 new shows making some noise are 'Scandal' and 'Touch' (Kiefer Sutherland). Caught a bit of both and they seem okay.

I like getting my mitts on a "complete series" , that way if it's any good I don't have to wait from week to week for the next episode but can instead have a binge and all of it advert free. Anyway I was trawling through some old stuff and found one that I don't think was ever shown in the UK, if it was I obviously missed it.

With summer coming and it's usually accompanied by a downturn in an already poor TV schedule the Canadian crime drama "Intelligence" is well worth the DL'd if your stuck for something to watch. Originally released about 6 years ago and lacking a less than stella cast it nevertheless is a pretty engrossing drama involving Canadian drug lords, American spies (infiltrating Canada) and the Canadian Anti Crime/Intelligence Services.

For those interested clicky -> Intelligence trailer

Seen the odd clip but it didn't really reach out and grab me. If I get the time I'll try and catch a full episode.

Another series that didn't immediately "grab" me is "Awake" but I sat through a couple of episodes and it's proving to be well worth it.

Initially it's more than confusing but then it slowly becomes more than engrossing.

Anyone watch Blue Bloods? That Donnie Whalberg comes across as a pussy ***** version of Mark Whalberg. Or maybe a Mark Whalberg from an alternate universe if he had never pumped weights.  :D

Donnie Whalberg makes a decent cop and I like Tom Selleck but Blue Bloods is just full of corn, and is probably the most unrealistic cop show ever. All crimes are easily solved with 24hours and the whole set up with the three generations at the family dinner every week plus the general moralising throughout the show bores me to tears.
