I heard that we are linked with Kevin Nolan from Bolton. Not a bad player IMO.

Liverpool alerted to J'Lloyd

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has been alerted to the possible availability of J'Lloyd Samuel.

J'Lloyd's recent form has been poor compared to his form of a few seasons back and could be the first casualty of O'Leary's alledged mis-management.

Gerard Houllier was a known admirer and Rafa is rumoured to be keen, especially as he is in the market place for defenders.

Samuel could be keen for a move where he will be first choice, although he knows that that won't affect his call up for Trinidad and Tobago, which Samuel has said is not being blocked by Villa.

Well, let's kick off with a couple of rumours then....

Liverpool and Tottenham are battling it out for the signatures of Villa youngsters Steven Davis and Luke Moore. An offer in the region of £6m for the both of them is likely to be accepted with the new owners of Villa wanting to buy (The New Wayne Rooney) Theo Walcott for around £7m.

and

word has it that liverpool will be buying the following players in january: Robbie Keane, Steed Malbranque, simoa, upson. To balance the books they will be looking to offload Kewell, Josemi, Hamann and Dudek.

No source, just hearsay...as this is a rumour...on the rumor thread  :oops:

In an attempt to increase his defensive options, Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez will launch a £4.5million bid for Daniel Agger.

Although Agger is only 20, he has proved himself on the international stage after coping well with Wayne Rooney during Denmark's 4-1 victory over England in August.

Benitez has been tracking the Brondby player's progress for months and has now decided to move for him in the January transfer window.
