Chat of a loan move for Forlan.

Great piece of business if true as according to all the reports from the Copa America he and Suarez are an awesome partnership and ran rings round many of their opponents. Loan move makes sense as he has little or no resale value but depends on whether Athletico would let him go out on loan.

Would put the requirement for an additional striker to bed and allow the focus to be on a LB and CB.

At one time I would choked at the thought of Forlan arriving however Owens move to the Mancs has softened that stance. I think it would be a good move in short term and make for great competition for a berth in that front line.

Forlan was a late bloomer.. and maybe that explains why he was so poor at Manure.

Or maybe he was never good enough for playing in England. Late bloomer or not he was :censored:

poor at utd. Not knocking him but he doesn't exactly fit FSG's profile plus he would probably want silly wages. That at he is an ex manc.

Had a very poor Copa America. He got a ridiculous amount of chances from Suarez and the midfield and didn't score until the final.

Liked him last summer but he's just about done now.

Don't really care whether he's an ex-manc or ex-whatever... We need an experienced goal scorer and he fits the bill... If it's true, it's a wise move by Kenny

Spot on!

Proven performer and for me the key thing is the potential link up with Suarez who I am convinced is going to set the EPL on fire this coming season. His old mate playing alongside him will only help.
