Depressing is right, it's not as if there aren't players out there who would improve us. IMO we are resting on our laurels.

These summer long transfer windows are a pain and should be replaced with a 3 week one instead if you ask me. That's more than enough time to tie up any transfer. We supposedly work 2 windows in advance on our targets so other clubs should follow suit. If we do work like that then it looks like our negotiations are running a little slow  .

I get what you are saying about taking things for granted. I didn't think we were going to sign a few superstars but at least thought we would have brought in replacements by now for the likes of Sturridge and Moreno seeing as they knew their contracts were up. Was hoping and still am that we can bring in one top player as we seem to be linked with a raft of them.

Camacho plus 40M for Bruno Fernandes? Not a bad idea of it comes off..

Mbappe has told PSG he wants to leave.. This and the lack of activity in the transfer market honestly makes me believe we're gonna go hard for this transfer.

Just no chance. He'd cost 300+

Real Madrid apparently want to swap Asensio for Mane. Now I know Asensio was a massive prospect 2 years or so ago.. But he's massively fallen off the radar.

In today's market Mane is valued at about 100-120 million.. And Asensio at around 85million.

No way we should we even entertain that offer. If they want Mane then make them pay £150m and we can invest wisely again.

I think Mane is a more complete player than Salah, I would not want to sell him.

Also if Real Madrid wants the deal then it is obviously not a good deal for the club. They can Foxtrot Oscar!

I think we're smarter these days than we were before. Asensio is not a bad player but Mane is worth double than him at the moment. Don't think Mane even wants to leave, but if he does, it would take Real Coutinho money if they want him, not a swap for their deadwood/unwanted players.

Fat chance. Now that Mane finally rounded his game this past season he's more than twice the player Ascensio is now. He's worth 150 million and I'm not sure I'd sell for that. Maybe in a couple of years...

Mane's contribution to that side is priceless so therefore a sale should never even be entertained.

I wouldn't swop Mane for the whole RM team. 

We're on the verge of something massive here and to lose Mane could jeopardise the whole season.

I wouldn't sell Mane at any price, not only is he fantastically talented he is a selfless team player as well, it's not about personal glory with Sadio, unlike Mo he'll actually pass the ball if someone is in a better position.
The way he led the line against Barcelona when Bobby and Mo were out was absolutely magnificent, Madrid can do one, we don't want their cast offs.

Mane was our best forward last season, whilst Bobby and Mo were slightly off the boil.

He has great awareness and a great eye for goal, is unselfish and dynamic..

NO WAY should we contemplate selling him.
