Wouldn't mind Monreal as back up to Robertson. Don't see the point of signing Ramsey however, we already have enough players like him.

Agreed. Monreal on a bosmon to replace Moreno would be a good move. Don't won't Ramsey though.

Eriksen on the otherhand is a great little player, can we have him instead?

We'd struggle to get a better backup left back who knows the league. Especially for free. But more likely he'll head back to Spain if he leaves Arsenal.

Monreal on a free for a couple of years would be a decent back up - not sure why you wouldn’t take him

Fullbacks do more running than CM's in the modern game, do you really want someone in their mid 30's plodding up and down the touchline. We can do better.

Like who ? Milner is in his mid 30’s and his fitness levels are at the top of the squad - Monreal would only be coming in as a back up , you aren’t going to get many experienced very good left backs - he would be a clear step up from Moreno and would be good for a couple of years until the young lad in the academy is ready.

Chillwell, Sessignon....there's loads we could be going for. Even Ryan Bertrand, at 29 he's not ideal but he'd be better than Monreal.

They aren’t going to arrive at the club to be back up ffs , you do understand the idea of a back up player don’t you.

putting aside the fact that you can never have enough good players if he is only a back up why bring him in in the first place? Gomez has done a job at LB as has Milner and I'm sure Trent could fill in over there if need be.
We don't need 32 year old bench warmers on the payroll, he's not signing a new contract at Arsenal because he's looking to earn a few quid, well he can look somewhere else.

You need a left back at left back not a CB or a RB - we have a very good young left back coming through but needs a couple of seasons

Monreal is a very good experienced international left back who will do a very good job for a couple of seasons

Teams that win trophies have experienced players on the bench who are able to fill in when required. Monreal will do that and he will cost nothing and his wages won’t be mad.

It’s a win win situation
