Feck me, we're signing another toddler, whose balls probably haven't dropped yet, and we're potentially touting him as a future messiah....
Which would be fine if we had a structure in place where you could actually see evidence of players progressing through the ranks year on year and onto the first team....
But, eh, we don't....

we aren't touting him as anything. No way the official website would announce if we do sign him. And if we do, I am sure that he isn't going to cost much. I don't see why this is a big deal either way.

Am watching the CSKA-Sevilla game - this lad Krasic looks good again. I know it was a rumour that vanished quickly enough, but he's a decent player.
He's almost as ugly as Kuyt though...

Liverpool line up summer bid for Spanish star

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has stepped up the chase for Athletic Bilbao midfielder Javi Martinez.

Martinez, 21, has been on Liverpool's radar for the past two seasons but Benitez is putting together his hit-list for next season.

Liverpool sent a scout to watch Martinez at Atletico Madrid last Thursday and Bilbao are well aware of Benitez's interest.

Bilbao coach Joaquin Caparros said: "Javier is a monster of a player and can go very far."

We were supposedly interested in him before we signed Aquilani...... maybe another indicator that Aquilani may not stay?
