I'm just not so sure about Aquilani. His injury record is a real concern. So is the fact that Roma's fans are celebrating his departure.

Would much rather Sneijder if we could work it in to the deal.

The perfect summer for me (after losing alonso) would be Sneijder and Silva

The lad certainly has a good shot from range.

1204 BST: Liverpool have signed Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani for £15.3m. (Spanish newspaper Marca)

Is he physically strong or not?

how about joe cole? spurs are apparently considering a bid for him. ancelotti favours a midfield diamond, cole could find opportunities limited with zhirkov, malouda, essien and ballack fighting for a place alongside lampard. and they are considering getting pirlo too.

yes, he is always injured and he isn't physically strong.
I Think he is a good player, nothing else. LFC is more strong and difficult than serie A and i don't know how many matches he can play. This is my opinion and the most of fan in italy are agree with me

It must be a reason if Inter,Milan, Juventus want a midfied but Aquilani isn't in their planes.

yes, he is always injured and he isn't physically strong.

Would love him here. Really rate joe cole. Always thought his footballing skills and ability far outweigh the fact that he's a cockney. £10m is a steal for him in the current market.

I was listening to Talksport about 2:30 and they said a friend of Jamie Carragher has said Liverpool want straight money from RM for Alonso so they can put it together for a double swoop for David Villa and Silva.I have to admit it is far fetched and I don't think it will happen but I have heard it and have put it in this thread were it belongs.

Be good if it was true but very much doubt it.

It said Marca on BBC website, if I had thought it was from the s** I would not have posted it.
