JUVENTUS are lining up a £30million bid for Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt, according to reports in Italy.

The Dutchman, 28, is believed to be the Serie A club's top target with veteran star Pavel Nedved set to leave in the summer.

Juve are claimed to have already made contact with the player's agent and are ready to discuss personal terms.

Any bid would further test the relationship between Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez and the club's American owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett.

The Spaniard is yet to sign a new contract at Anfield, with control over team affairs a sticking point.

I heard a rumor that Fulham are going to put in a £7,000,000 bid for Elano if Bullard was to leave....it look sas though he is set to go to Hull!!

FFS Micah for 5 million , we should be lining up and that said i wouldn't mind elano here , he can play anywhere across the midfield and would solve the right mid problem

Il Corriere Dello Sport claims that negotiations will begin next week as Juventus seek a replacement for Pavel Nedved.

The Czech star's agent Mino Raiola has told Juve that he will not accept a pay-as-you-play deal so the Old Lady have apparently turned to Kuyt instead.

Any bid would inevitably test the relationship between Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez and the club's American owners as Kuyt is clearly one of Benitez's favourite players.

Can't believe they would sell him for only 5 million, even though he has been very poor this season. At that price I would definitely take a punt on him, seeing as he's still very young and will eventually get back to his best imo. But as I said, I very much doubt they'd sell a young english talent (who's already been in around the national team) for as little as 5 million.
