I heard he is interested in the Ajax job?
I really hope he is announced as our new manager after Napoli thump us.

How is that even possible, unless you think he'd take us to 20th place?  :sniffle

My only worry is that Rijkaard had a slow start at Barca. They were down near the relegation zone when they finally started playing well and finished 2nd.  He'll need results immediately if he comes here.

But he'll be far better than Roy.

I think he'd be better than Roy but i don't think he'd be the best guy for the job. I don't want MON but i reckon he'd be better than Frankie. I think we need to go for an international mgr, someone like Bert van Marwijk, Joachim Löw - both managers that are working with young players and building a good side and team spirit. I doubt they'd want to come but this is the direction i'd like rather than MON or FR.

dunno. Hasn't done that well has he.  Yes he did win a couple of things with barca - but look at their squad and the coming of age of Xavi and Iniesta. Look at his record for Gala.. a disappointing 3rd followed by languishing mid table now. Is he the right man to turn us around?

Personally I’d take Hiddink, Pellegrini or Deschamps in a heart beat, but have my doubts whether Rijkaard would be what we need right now

Apparently, No Dalglish on club flight to Napoli, Hodgson's request, still trying to verify it.

Maybe Kenny should head out to Turkey and have a chat with Frank.

No, Martin O'Neil would be my first choice but I honestly reckon Kenny will take over soon, maybe just until the end of the season.

if that ever happened they'd be more riots and protests at the ground than when dumb and dumber were here.

Only problem is... Hiddink, Deschamps or even Loew are not available.
i wouldn't mind Pellegrini either though.

Id say its between Pellegrini, Rijkaard and MON.
