Well shame he didnt hang around for another year then he would have had a Big Ears medal to go with his FA/UEFA cup medals that he won during that trophy free eight years of waiting

LOL

Owen won his first Golden Ball in 2001(with us), he won a UEFA cup, 1 FA cup, 1 Charity shield and a UEFA Super Cup with Liverpool.

not enough trophies...

Owen left in 2004. We won the CL in 2005 and FA cup in 2006   :D

Yes, and after winning all those trophies that most people don't care sh!te about, he wanted to win real trophies, like CL and League trophies.  It was his loss that we ended up winning after he left.

You can only win those smaller trophies so many times before they lose their prestige.  Players want to win more than that and Owen figured he could at madrid.

He went to Madrid in 2005 to win the CL, and that year, the CL was won by us :D

Trust me, I agree, especially considering we won it in such dramatic fashion  :)

But Madrid did win league that year, and personally I'd much rather win the prem then the champs league.  It means more to me.

Yes, the win in Prem is very important for us. We won the last one in 1990. 21 years ago...

I was a baby(2 years old), hence i never seen win a Premier League by Liverpool. I seen CL, UEFA Cups/Super Cups, FA Cups, Shields, but never a Prem.

For me is a dream win the Premier League.

But the CL is the most important trophy in the world for a club. We can't forget it.

:D My bro would agree with you!

Haha I looked at a Real Madrid thing to see if they won that year and it said they did... When they got second.

They sound more and more like manure... let's just tell people we won and that means it's true!
