I had to laugh before, I was listening to talkshite and they are on the subject of Torres and some one who is famous from Chelsea phoned in and said maybe he is feeling the pressure of wearing the number 9 shirt for them and then rolled off a list of names I had never heard of.

I visited some Chelsea forums to see how they're holding up... the general feeling i got is that they want Carlo sacked, they think their team is quite shi.t and uncreative, some think Torres will be another Shevcenko and some think he'll be good if they can create anything for him.

In another season or two they're gonna realise that they've had some good managers but just seem to sack them all the time.

I hope Torres flops big time down there. :D

Ouch.......
Trevor Francis believes Fernando Torres could become a £50million flop and says he does things that ‘make him look like an amateur.’ :D

I hope he 'flops' too, but my head tells me people like Trevor Francis are going to be wrong. Torres is a class striker who will score goals if he stays fit.

I agree, I don't think he will flop, world class player everyone knows that, once he is settled he will do a lot better.

I hope he flops too, but can't see it happening (hope I'm wrong)

I agree too. People - in the press especially - are WAY to fast to write him off already, and he'll probably score quite a few goals if he can stay fit, which will in turn make them all look stupid. Here's hoping this post will make me look stupid though and he will actually flop :D

Tbh my anger and hatred towards him has already diminished a fair bit, as I'm actually more concerned - and excited - about our own future with the new signings and hopefully more to come in the summer. I now just find myself not really caring too much about our former no. 9 (though I do still not look forward to the sight of him celebrating with Terry and the gang :no)
