Souness sacked. - Who will be his successor?

The Premiership - General Discussion

Postby AussieKopite » Thu Feb 02, 2006 1:55 pm

Well, Souness is finally gone from the Toons, and while I have mixed feelings about him (great player, dodgy coach) I wonder who will be the next one to coach them. Ferguson is looking shaky, maybe a new challenge?

Guus Hiddink and Rafa get linked to every top flight coaching job out there so could someone TRY to tempt them? (I know Rafa won't got there.)

Could Big Sam be the answer? He probably holding out to see if he gets offered the England coaching job, although he's doing great things at Bolton.

Does anyone have ideas?

I have a few ideas:

1)   Ban you

2)   Give you a warning

3)   Move the thread

4)   Lock the thread

5)   Point out the error of your ways

Loser...being newcastle coach has no different from being a real madrid coach...every club has their bad patch and with the number of injures surely the fan can understand...but instead of supporting the club when they are in this bad patch they starting to protest wanting the manager to out...

Whoever is the new manager of newcastle...i can only wish them Good Luck.
i bet the next manager won't last more than a year...

I've inside info (can't tell who) but they have told me Sven will be the next newcastle manager.

On another note nice to see Rafa offered his support to souness. Just shows that Rafa is a true professional.
