Souness has quit Blackburn to take over at newcastle.  he should sort their discipline out

Yes and ensure that we are guaranteed fourth spot in the process.

Its a strange move alright.

Souness did an ok job at Southampton and Blackburn, but everytime he begins to look like a reasonably decent manager, he shoots himself in the foot (Julian Dicks, Paul Stewart anyone?)

I'll give him 5 minutes before he falls out with Shearer, 7 with Dyer, 8 with Bellamy and 10 with Kluivert.

Blackburn could do worse than appointing Bobby Robson for the rest of the season.

Unfortunately I would have settled for nowt from Souness, Judge. He did more than nowt, he completely messed us up.

souness basically destroyed the team that dalglish built by selling beardsley, houghton and mcmahon. the worst thing was, he replaced them with paul stewart, don hutchinson and dean saunders. :(

Souness did do something for LFC! He got rid of all our best players from an inherited winning team and made sure we didn't win anything major again for a while, he also called me a c@nt after one defeat, cheaky b@stard.

(nothing to do with the fact I called him sh!t though)

I am afraid I would disagree over Don Hutchinson, he was scoring more than Rooney in a brothel for the reserves and rightly got his chance in the first team.
