F*ck them. Liverpool come first every time. No matter the consequence.

But shanks isnt rafa.

Shanks would put the club first.

Was it Tommy Smith who shanks had a falling out with? What did he do? he publicly patched up the indifference. Would rafa do the same?

As we have seen, no he wouldnt, he would get rid.

I can see Liverpool beating chelsea. And I can see myself getting more frustrated with rafa, as it shows he can get results, its his priorities that take place above all else. We have been p!ss poor all season, if come the chelsea game, the game we hand over our entire pride to the scummy lot, if come that game that matters not a jot we win, yeah, I think its fair to say, I will be pretty p!ssed with rafa, I will be p!ssed with the players and just thank the entire lot for the worst ever season bar none.

You would have more respect for rafa if he sent the lads out to lose?

I would have more respect for rafa if ever he put the club first before his own feelings.

I hear we will be playing in a special kit on Sunday, last time we'll be wearing Carlsberg.

Liverpool will wear Carlsberg on their shirts for the final time at Anfield this weekend - but it'll be with a difference.

The Danish brewers' name has adorned the red shirt at every home game over the last eighteen years - but as Carlsberg prepare to sign off as the club's shirt sponsors at the end of the season their name will be displayed in Chinese language for the clash with Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

In addition to the change on the front of the players' shirts, Chinese messages will be displayed during the match on the perimeter advertising boardings and in the Carlsberg Lounge at Anfield a Chinese competition winner will present a trophy to the "Man of the Match" after the final whistle.

With Liverpool the only UK city exhibiting at World Expo in Shanghai - its twin city - later this year, Carlsberg officials came up with the novel idea of interacting with the club's massive fan base in that part of the world.

Carlsberg Group Sponsorship Director Keld Strudahl said, "We're delighted to have been able to bring about this momentous occasion. We believe it's a nice little gesture to our friends and fans of Liverpool FC in China, where we know the Club devoted huge support in working things out and we also worked hard with all parties to mark this special occasion for the World Expo."

The Chinese Carlsberg logo will be only the fifth logo ever printed on a Liverpool FC shirt. Liverpool FC's first sponsor was Hitachi, followed by Crown Paints, Candy and then Carlsberg in 1992.

Yep exactly . It speaks volumes where there is more people wanting us to lose a game as opposed to winning it

I dont think anybody actually WANTS to lose a game.

But weighing it up - winning the game and more than likely still finishing out of the champions league places, handing united the title on a plate. Well would you on Monday morning wake up and think...

ah well united are champions and we will be in the europa league again next season, but at least we won.
We have our respect and credibility amonst other fans and the media ?

I know you will say yes, thats something that disturbs me though.

I don't give a flying f.uck about man utd and don't even think of them , I'm a Liverpool fan and concentrate on that as opposed to worrying about a rival or focusing on hating them . I want to go out and win every game as that is what matters to me . Man ud winning the title and breaking the record won't be because of that one game it will because of 20 years of being better than us . A win for Liverpool above anything and f.uck the consequences . We went out to win against Blackburn that day and we will do again

Love your sentiments but normal people do care how rivals get on.
Thats what rivallary is all about so spare me the billy big b'llocks :censored:.
Otherwise we might as well not even be given points for a win and have a league table with final standings.
We could just play friendlies ?

What Rivallries has to do with the most basic instinct of every competative player and that is to win every game?

And if united win it anyway? or next year or whatever? this is a disgrace trying to get into those games and manipulations.

Let me get this straight.

I dont think for one minute any of our players or the manager would go out to lose the game.
Nor am i suggesting that they do.

What i am saying is that if i had to make a choice on losing this one off - really nothing game now and this meaning our hated rivals dont win the league, then i would RELUCANTLY accept defeat.

I dont have a choice or a way of influencing the result - i am just giving an answer to a scenario.
