This time however I do hope we lose or at least that whatever the outcome of our game Sunderland do enough to ensure they don't win it. 4 Years on the trot and taking our record is just too much. The papers will have a field day, Fergies face will be "beaming", Neville and the rest of the inbred breed will be plastered all over the TV and papers etc etc.

I have to say rather than that I WOULD PREFER WE LOSE.

What he said, I simply can't handle the thought of them winning number 19. 4th place is gone in my mind.

Bet we go and draw the bloody game now and blow 4th and Chelsea's title challenge out the window in one go!

Major defeatism! Thank :censored: we didnt have you on the beaches. We'd be German now.

The Mancs have hoared too many titles with their murdoch and fa lie in.

I for one dont want them overtaking us, to say its inevitable? What if we get the new owners? That
McTaggert retires and they lose the continuity that we did when kenny left?

Its 3 meaningless points ffs, i hope chelsea win and we'll show the arrogant, classless cockneys what class is all about. We'll clap them off the pitch.

this club is remarkable, it has great traditons, but, we can not let that mob de-throne us of being the  MOST SUCCESSFUL CLUB IN ENGLAND.

New owners, and we will take our top of the perch again. The red pheonix, Mctaggert will wilt away at some scabby stable in scotland. The rat will hopefully get poisoned!

RED FOR LIFE, BUT NOT FOR SUNDAY!

Can you imagine the chants from that shower of mongs? I aint gonna put up with it! Id rather go to jail for smackin one of that mob!

Dont want start an out of towner debate. More a proximity to that cesspit. I think you'll find those that live nearer the Soccer Club United of Manchester or S.C.U.M. will want chelsea win. I still remember their chant of 99. We won the fottball league with that point on merseyside!

:censored: EM, IF THE LORD STRIKES ME DOWN WITH CANCER, I CAN GUARENTEE THAT ILL GO TO OLD TRAFFORD STRAPPED WITH SEMTEX AND BLOW THAT PLACE TO SMITHERINES. I HATE THE ORRIBLE SKANKY :censored:!

I know that there will be a lot of fans who want us to lose this game but I'm not among them. We are Liverpool and we should always go out to win every game, irrespective of the consequences.

If Man Utd win 19, they've won 19 and they'll have deserved it. We haven't been good enough for too long.

We'll just have to refocus our efforts and knock them off "their f*cking perch" next year.

Anyway, we'll still have 5 of ol'big ears filling up the Trophy room :D

It seems some peoples hatred of the mancs is stronger than the will to want Liverpool to win. That's the sort of thing you see bs fans doing , willing to not have their own team win if it means we miss out on something

tbf we dont exactly have a sh!tload to play for so I can easily see why they'd want to throw the game
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

If the three points don't matter to us, why help ManU to overtake us? Wont you do all you can to keep the record and reputation of your own club instead of allowing it to be destroyed? I don't get it.

I'm sure our reputation would be more than tainted if we played a weak game just to ensure we lost and our reputation as fans would be bitter with us more worried about the mancs not winning the title as opposed to us winning a game . We are Liverpool Football Club our reputation is about fairness as well and playing the game in the spirit it is intended to be played , we never ever want our own team to loose no matter what and don't care about other teams .

I think people should stick to posting their own opinions on the question asked rather than making offensive comparisons of the people who have different opinions to their own. Especially when they are the first to complain when people compare them to clueless kunts :D

Its lose not loose.

And i can see both sides to this.
Its horrible to have to even contemplate wanting Chelsea to beat us in our last home game of the season.
But it is likely a nothing game for us - Rafa made sure of that when he took Torres off away at Birmingham for me.
So given the choice of us losing one game and stopping united overtaking our league title record and creating a new one for most titles in a row then i would reluctantly accept defeat.
