Thats the way i support the club - dont like that tough sh.it - fully entitled to say my bit on here and certainly wont go down to the levels of personally insulting and slagging off our manager like some do .

The team may well be playing sh.it at the moment and the players and manager need to take responsiblity and drag us out of it but some of the stuff being said about the manager is beyond a joke .

comments like "F.UCK Benitez" are pathetic and disrespectful to our manager .

No, you just concentrate on calling our player sh.it, then whinge when anyone disrespects our manager?

Im guessing you mean Babel - and i stick with my opinion mainly due to the guy showing any willingness to help the team out and show any fight and to disappoint and to look like he couldnt be bothered to the point where it looks like he might be feigning an injury then giving an exclusive to the scum of all people .

I don't know who you meant mate, but you called our old players sh.it a while ago, and yesterday you said get rid of the sh.it at the end of the season ....... presumably you meant more than just Babel ?

I think if anyone said get rid of that sh.it Rafa you would be the first to object?

Old players is the clue their - they are no longer part of our club saint .

And yes i did say sh.it at the end of the season and as i said in thread at the time i corrected myself and said poor players who arent up to the task IMO .

There is a difference between what people like you and Big Mick and a few others say about the manager when you actually provide some back up and valid fews as opposed to the people that just slag him off on constant basis .

On the Aquilani substitution, has anybody got any plausible explanation whatsoever? I mean, if he was fit then surely we could have used him earlier. If he wasn't fit then why bother putting him on the bench, and more to the point why bother bringing him on? I'm not asking anyone to agree with the decision, just to offer up a reason which can be construed as remotely realistic? Is it just that we wanted to waste a few seconds maybe?

Very odd.

It really is a said state of affairs when it comes to a point where you get attacked for sticking up for our own manager , just because you support something you think has done great things for the club and believe can still do despite a current poor run .

Yeah he always seems to come across as a knowledgeable and fair commentator Bob. I would love him and Hanson to do match of the day rather than Lawrenson.

Had me completely baffled, TBPH.  Obviously, at that late stage, it was to waste time but why choose Aquilani?  By all accounts, the lad's bursting at the seams to get a run out and Rafa's keeping him wrapped in cotton wool for some reason.  But it verges on taking the p!ss to tell the fella to strip off for the last seconds.  :Oo:

As i said to Sir Rog - i think he is still a risk at the moment , a risk to take when loosing but not one worth taking when winning the game . A sub should of been done earlier but Yossi coming on .

As for him coming on for the last minute it must of only been as you say for wasting time - no other reason .

Yeah, he was in good form tonight.  Had a bead on what was going on with the match and had some even-handed views on the larger crisis at the club.  He's clearly sympathetic towards Rafa when it comes to injuries but he was the first to acknowledge that we've largely made our own problems this season and most certainly in the Champions League.

There was an interesting moment when his partner mentioned the big Rafa interview recently as part of a charm offensive and Gary Mac wondered aloud whether it struck people as from the heart.  As I said earlier, some of his comments spoke volumes.

You're being attacked, because you're talking shit.

Benitez isn't Liverpool...he's just a manager. That's all. And he's a manager with considerable limitations, who makes truely baffling decisions, like tonight.

And your constant ra ra bleating is ridiculous and only goes to show you up as a twit. Not an uberfan or Liverpool fan No1, or whatever you think the image is you're trying to portray.

But playing Yossi isn't a risk?  It sounds like Alberto needs some horse placenta of his own since it seems to have convinced Rafa to risk Yossi with gay abandon. :D
